DISCOVERY

We begin each engagement with a review of your goals. Collaborating with you we review your search, traffic, transaction and offline data. We review competitors and identify their best practices and vulnerabilities. We define user needs and challenge assumptions during interviews with your clients, marketing and sales teams. We associate metrics with each of your online goals. In turn we define and map transactions leading to measurable results.

TECHNOLOGY PLANNING

Moving from a fundamental confirmation of your platform, server and OS standards to a detailed review of your existing systems, data sources and formats and data flows we lay the foundation for informed systems specifications.

ART DIRECTION AND DESIGN

Drawing from a foundation of knowledge regarding your constituent needs and primary transactions, we sketch out an overall brand direction and then turn our attention to crafting an immersive online brand experience. Blending creativity with technology we deliver a solution meeting the immediate and aspirational needs of your target audience.

PRODUCTION

With art direction and site design in hand we confirm production requirements with annotated design templates and begin HTML production. Employing CSS and style sheets templates that degrade gracefully and offer the foundation for easy mobile access.

TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT

Applying the work flow and functional requirements we develop your CMS and product/catalog management system. Our development efforts provide for the design of modular components easing upgrade options, configuration and testing. Following database development and scripting we deploy your site within a test environment, creating dummy data and transactions to ensure seamless third party system integration.

TESTING

Testing spans the traditional suite of parameters, covering individual unit testing, integrated unit and system testing, functional testing under predefined testing criteria and expected results, platform testing under final deployment conditions and load testing to ensure the ability to effectively handle anticipated traffic as well as unanticipated spikes.

DEPLOYMENT

System deployments range from our collaborative work with your IT team as we deploy components behind your firewall to our configuration of solutions hosted at our external hosting environment. In addition to testing, we prepare you for content entry, set-up DNS and traffic reporting and cut over your third party systems to your new site.
